The ACI Foundation invites international students pursuing higher education to submit applications for 2024-25 ACI Foundation Scholarships and Fellowships within both Canada and the USA.

Assistance is intended for high-potential students pursuing graduate and undergraduate degree programs related to specific industries or products. Grants can be used to finance studies at both graduate and undergraduate levels; applicants should assemble all documents required when filing their applications.

ACI Foundation Scholarship 2024-2025 is an international, fully funded fellowship award available to undergraduate, master’s, Ph.D., and postdoctoral studies students residing abroad. Students studying undergraduate studies (undergrad, ma) masters (ms/MFA mfa or Ph.D. post doc ). Each award offers between $10,000 – 15,000 US education stipend to cover costs such as tuition housing textbooks materials books etc).

The ACI Foundation is a non-profit foundation established in the name of American Concrete Institute to foster innovation, collaboration, and development by offering scholarship and studies while serving as an independent institution to manage and guide concrete industry operations and growth.

Each Fellowship recipient of ACI Foundation receives an education stipend (Falconer fellowship receives 15K), reimbursement of expenses associated with travel to and attendance at two ACI Conventions as well as assistance finding an industry mentor. Scholarship recipients each receive a five-figure education allowance. Since its inaugural Fellowship Program began in 2008, ACI Foundation has provided financial aid, mentoring opportunities and internship placement to 275 participants!

In 2000, the ACI Foundation provided 19 fellowships and 14 scholarship awards to undergraduate students attending 27 institutions.

In 1989, The ACI Foundation was created to foster innovation, progress, and collaboration within the American Concrete Institute community. Comprised of three councils — Concrete Innovation Council which helps identify innovative technologies; Concrete Research Council which funds innovative concrete techniques development efforts; and finally Scholarship Council which facilitates student grants and scholarships — this foundation operates solely under its ownership and operation by ACI itself.

ACI Foundation Scholarships and Fellowships 2024-2025 Eligibility Criteria:

English must be your native tongue when applying; otherwise a statement by you demonstrating English proficiency must accompany your application form. Eligible Countries:
ACI Foundation Fellowships may be awarded in any country around the world; however, to receive one it must attend a school within the Gulf Cooperation Council region during that year (Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar Saudi Arabia or United Arab Emirates).
To be considered potential candidates for ACI Foundation Scholarship and Fellowship opportunities available in both North America (US/CA) and International Student (IS/EU), applicants must satisfy certain criteria:
Candidates for this award should be full-time graduate school students enrolled in either their first or second year, receiving it during that year and working full-time both during application as well as throughout its duration.
Fellowship applicants prizes typically consist of students from outside North America enrolled full time at either an American or Canadian university, although certain grants require recipients to complete 10-20 weeks of summer employment prior to beginning their grant year.
All applicants should possess an excellent command of English spoken language. If English is not your primary language, a written statement detailing your proficiency must accompany your application form as evidence of that fact.
Fellowship recipients must submit a post-fellowship essay outlining its significance for both personal and professional growth, in addition to any training they receive that will assist with future job pursuits after finishing.
