Elks Most Valuable Student Scholarship

Any high school senior that is a US citizen is eligible to enter the Elks Most Valuable Student Scholarship contest. The criteria for judging applicants will include leadership, scholarship, and financial need. The Elks National Foundation will award 500 Elks Most Valuable Student scholarships to the top-rated applicants.
Eligible Criteria of Elks Most Valuable Student Scholarship
- Current high school seniors or equivalents who are citizens of the United States can apply.
- The Elks do not require applicants to be related.
- High school graduates cannot apply.
- The applicants must be citizens of the United States at the time they submit their applications. Permanent legal resident status is not permissible.
What is the Elks Most Valuable Student Award worth?
The range of awards is $4000 to $50000 For a breakdown, see below:
- First Place: Two $50,000 Awards for a Total of $100,000
- Second Place: Two $40,000 Awards for $80,000
- Third Place: Two $30,000 Awards for $60,000
- Fourth Place: Fourteen $20,000 Awards for a Total of $280,000
- Runners up: Four-hundred eighty $4,000 awards totaling $1,920,000
Total: $2,440,000

Awards Elks Most Valuable Student Scholarship
A) 500 four-year scholarships will be awarded by the Elks National Foundation to the top-rated applicants for the 2022 competition.
B) Female and male students compete in a separate competition.
C) Most valuable student scholarships range from $1,000 per annum to $12,500 annually. They are available for students who are pursuing a four year degree on a full-time (minimum 12 semester hours) in a U.S college or university. All scholarships come in the form certificates of award that are subject to full-time enrollment at an accredited U.S college or university. APPLY For
D) In late April 2022, the Chicago Elks National Foundation office will announce 500 national winners. This program is offered by many local Lodges, districts, and state Elks organizations that offer scholarships. These scholarships should not be confused with the 500 Elks National Foundation Most Valuable Student Awards.
Traditionally, the 20 Top Finalists* attend an all-expense paid Leadership Weekend in Chicago. During this weekend they will interview with national judges. These 20 Finalists will compete for two awards: one first-place award of $50,000, two second-place prizes of $40,000, and two third-place awards worth $30,000. The remaining 14 Finalists will be awarded $20,000. The remaining 14 finalists will be awarded $20,000.
