An amount of up to 15,000 RM 1,500.00 each month will be offered in this Malaysian International Scholarship program, covering costs for living and tuition. Traveling in Malaysia is the sole responsibility of successful applicants (non-financial conditions). The Malaysian Government is not able to cover expenses for travel. It is highly advised that all applicants do their research on the estimated costs of living in Malaysia before making an application.

The Malaysian Technical Cooperation Programme (MTCP) offers its successful applicants the benefit of covering their costs of living in addition to their tools and books, including housing, rental and support for families. Additionally, it provides help with their thesis and placement and practical training and study reimbursements. Furthermore, medical claims, costs for school and VISA are all included in the scholarship program. Through their own savings accounts, the successful applicant can benefit and allowances.

The eligibility criteria of Malaysian Government Scholarships

Malaysian International Scholarship program only accepts applications from these nations: Cambodia, Philippines, Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste, Indonesia, Laos, Brunei Darussalam, Palestine, Kingdom of Morocco, Thailand, Myanmar, Vietnam, and Singapore. Candidates must be gifted international students with outstanding academic records and exceptional co-curricular activities.

However, the Malaysian Technical Cooperation Programme scholarship includes 13544 (144) countries that have been awarded the scholarship and twenty (20) qualified universities to instruct the successful applicants. The applicants must also possess the capacity to commit to the program to finish their education within the timeframe they choose for their university. The applicants have to complete the application form on the official website for the Malaysian Government Scholarships. The applicant’s passport should have a validity of at least six months to prove the applicant’s nationality.
