Shasta College seeks qualified and motivated international students to apply for the Shasta College Foundation Scholarship, open to international students pursuing degree-granting programs during the 2023-2024 academic session.
Shasta College Foundation is pleased to offer a scholarship opportunity for newly enrolled International Students. This payment will be sent directly into your Shasta College student account, helping cover educational costs associated with attending classes.
We understand the financial strain that international students often experience while attending an American college, so the Shasta College Foundation is pleased to offer them a chance at receiving an award. Our campus will soon be welcoming students from around the globe and providing them with access to world-class educations.
Shasta College is one of the world’s most esteemed community colleges, offering students associate degrees and certificates that transfer to four-year universities and colleges. Many international students choose Shasta College because we provide an inviting, safe, and supportive atmosphere to learn and grow in.
Shasta College is a public institution accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), as well as other accreditation organizations. Educational institutions such as California State University, the University of California system, Simpson University, and other accredited universities and colleges grant full credit for classes taken at Shasta College.
Shasta College operates on a semester system, with Fall (August) and Spring (January). Students may enroll in either semester; courses and programs are available during day or evening hours as well as on weekends – equivalent to the initial two years of four-year degree programs.
The Global Education Center was created to provide programs and services that guarantee our international students the highest quality personal and academic experience, while encouraging understanding of other cultures. Our staff is passionate about helping students make the most of their time at Shasta College and in America.
