Turkey Success Scholarships 2023-2024 | Application Procedure

International students can apply for Turkey Success Scholarships in 2023-2024 starting April 2022. The last date for online applications for Success Scholarships will be November 30, 20222.

As most people know, Turkish higher education institutions offer a top-quality education at the bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral levels. The Turkey Success Scholarship is unique:

Turkey Success Scholarship Program places students at one of the 50 top higher education institutions in Turkey based on their academic ability. Scholarships for Success in Turkey:

There are many programs available at different universities for each level of study. These programs can be either full-time or short-term. Some programs are specifically tailored for students from certain countries.

#1 Full-Time Programs:

Various subjects are available for full-time undergraduate programs, including engineering, social sciences, and the humanities. These programs typically last four years and don’t offer associate or vocational degrees. The guide on the website will show you the programs available at each university.

Full-time postgraduate programs are available at both the master’s and doctoral levels. This program covers nearly all subject areas and fields, except health sciences. You can find the complete list of universities and programs on the website.

International students have the unique opportunity to study at Ankara University of Music and Fine Arts at the bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral levels. Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees are available in music technology, theory, and musicology. A master’s degree in music sciences is also available. Only the music sciences are eligible for the ph.D. degree.

#2 Part-Time Programs:

There are two types available for Part-time programs. The first, the Success Scholarship Program, is for students already enrolled at one of Turkey’s universities. This scholarship is only for one year. It provides a monthly stipend.

The Research Scholarship Program is available for three to twelve months. It aims to encourage foreign researchers to collaborate with Turkish researchers in their research fields. This will broaden the horizons and strengthen cultural bonds between academicians from different countries.

#3. Other Programs:

Turkiye Scholarships also cover other programs, such as the Turkish Language Program, which is only available to public officials, diplomats, and researchers.

These programs are targeted at specific groups, such as citizens of Syria and Yemen. These programs are sponsored and funded by government agencies and foreign organizations.

Turkey Scholarship Coverage:

First Undergraduate Coverage:

Undergraduate awardees can benefit from tuition fee waiver, program and university placement, monthly stipend (of approximately 800 Turkish Lira), flight ticket, health insurance, and accommodation support.

#2 Postgraduate Coverage:

Postgraduate awardees will receive almost identical coverage. A monthly stipend will be paid to the master’s student, while the Ph.D. student will receive a 1,100 TL monthly stipend.

The undergraduate scholarship lasts 4 to 6 years, plus one year for the Turkish Language Course. Master’s students are covered for one year for the language class and two for master’s. Students pursuing a Ph.D. will be covered for 4 years, plus 1 year for the language class.

#3 Others:

The Turkish Success Scholarship Program or the Research Scholarship Program only provides a monthly stipend. They don’t cover tuition or accommodation costs.

The Language and Cultural Program provides a monthly stipend of 2,000 TL, accommodation, flight tickets, and the Turkish Language Course.

Turkey Success Scholarships Application Criteria:

A minimum of 70% academic standing is required for undergraduates. It is 75% for masters and doctoral students. Applicants must have a minimum academic standing of 90% for pharmacy, medicine, or dentistry.

Undergraduate applicants must be younger than 21 years old. Master’s applicants must be younger than 30 and Ph.D. candidates less than 35.

All nationalities are eligible to apply. You cannot apply if you are a current or former Turkish citizen.

Applying for the Turkey Success Scholarships 2023:

All interested applicants may fill out the application form for the Turkey Success Scholarship. After reading the instructions, applicants are asked to complete the application form. It is recommended that applicants upload all documents to the provided online portal and not send them via courier or post. They will need to pick up 12 universities that interest them. The applicants will be placed at one of the universities they choose, considering their academic achievements and background. The application fee is not required. Applicants should not pay any fee to submit their applications.

The majority of these programs are taught in the Turkish Language. Some programs, however, use English as the medium of instruction. The IELTS and TOEFL standardized tests will prove that applicants are proficient in English. Other test scores such as GRE, GMAT, and SAT are required for these programs. Students who have completed high school with international qualifications such as SAT or GSCE may be advantaged. They may not need to submit any additional test scores.

All awardees, including those in English-language programs, must attend a one-year-long Turkish Language Course. Except for those with a C1 Level Certificate in Turkish Proficiency, there are no exceptions.
