Visionary Scholarship

The American College Foundation (ACF) is located in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The Association provides a Visionary Scholarship program to financially aid students at every grade in high school. The ACF Awards start at $1,000 each and a maximum award of $5,000. The thing that makes this program distinctive is that the need for financial aid isn’t considered!

Who can be considered for the Visionary Scholarship?

The applicant must meet the following requirements:

  • Current students are High School Freshmen or Juniors, Sophomores, or Seniors
  • Legal citizens from the United States or eligible non-citizens

The financial need of applicants is not an issue. Everyone is welcome to apply. If you’re not successful the first time you apply, ensure you apply again next year!

How can I apply for this award?

All applications to the American College Foundation’s Visionary Scholarship Program will consist of:

  • A fully completed ACF Visionary Scholarship Application
  • The most recent, unofficial transcript from high school
  • A 500-word essay about “Why College is Important to Me.”

Make sure that every part of the application has to be submitted on the submission date. If you submit incomplete applications, then you’ll be disqualified. Be aware of these:

  • The grammar and the punctuation (25 percent)
  • Ability to follow the rules (25 percent)
  • The originality and overall quality of the essay (50 percent)

What will this Visionary Scholarship be worth?

A variety of scholarships ranging up to $5,000 are given out every year. The one-time scholarships are not renewable. They are non-renewable. Visionary Scholarship funds are applied directly to the costs for the first year of postsecondary education. The winners must be enrolled in recognized institutions of higher education.

When is the Visionary scholarship application due?

The deadline to apply is May 1, 2023. The deadline for applications is June 30, 2023. the lucky winners will be informed. The awards will be announced on July 31, 2023.

Winners to be selected: December 15, 2023

Awards distributed: July 31, 2023

One application per student; non-winners may reapply.

It will send you the Applications Packet by email 2 (2) weeks after you have registered. If you do not receive your application package within 2 (2) months, you can send us an email. Only send us an email if you’ve completed the registration Page and have not received your application packet after 2 (2) two (2) weeks.

Only submit your complete Applications Packet.

Instructions for Application

The application in all its components must be submitted in full during the application process. The applicant will not be informed of an incomplete or incomplete application. The Visionary Scholarship Program of the American College Foundation Visionary Scholarship Program will consist of:

Application Status

The ACF Scholarship Committee will determine the final decision on the award recipients. The selected recipients agree that their application and the details of their award, including their essay, photograph name, state and high school grade levels, and the amount of the award, may be recognized on the American College Foundation website and related documents.

The application packets submitted become the sole belonging of the American College Foundation. There is no correspondence about the acceptance, screening or judging condition of an application packet is accepted. The application form cannot be altered or added after it is received.

Specifications for Awards

The award is a one-time award, which is non-renewable and is directly paid to the institution and is solely intended to cover costs and expenses that directly relate to the student’s initial year of postsecondary study at an accredited school that the student chooses in the United States.

If a first-year student is a prize winner, the award will be kept in the hands of the American College Foundation until the student is finished with high school and starts their postsecondary education. It is important to note that the American College Foundation does not discriminate based on race or color, gender or religion, national origin or disabilities.
